In a notable recognition ceremony held by the Regional Cooperation Council in Sarajevo, Hana Qerimi stood out among 250 nominees this year to clinch the title of ‘Young Woman Entrepreneur of the Western Balkans and one of the leading female entrepreneurs of 2023. Her outstanding contribution to entrepreneurship and innovation through StarLabs and Digital School caught the attention of the council.
Hana continues to be lauded for her impact in the ICT sector, spearheading innovation not only in the Balkan region but beyond.
The distinguished panel of judges for this competition included: Andriola Kambo, Executive Director of the Union of Albanian Municipalities in the region, Albania; Brankica Raković, Editor-in-Chief of Lola magazine and Owner of Dot Media, Bosnia and Herzegovina; Shqipe Breznica, Country Director of Help – Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe, Kosovo; Branimir Zugić, Co-founder & Programme Director of the Creative Industries and Media Forum, Kotor, Montenegro; Zagorka Blazevska, CEO of Vita Nova, North Macedonia; and Jelena Mihajlović-Tanasijević, Head of the Department for Local Economic Development, Standing Conference of Towns and Municipalities of Serbia.
Hana’s recognition not only celebrates her individual achievements but also serves as a beacon for aspiring female entrepreneurs across the Western Balkans, inspiring innovation and growth in the region.
