Since 2017
Hana Qerimi and Darsej Rizaj founded StarLabs in 2017. Software engineering gave us our foundation. Working alongside Digital School connected that foundation to something just as important: helping people learn to use technology well.
Today, we bring those two worlds together as an AI and digital transformation partner. We digitalize operations, automate repetitive work and integrate AI into everyday decisions. Then we train the people using it and support what we build.
Our ambition is simple: useful technology, confident people and partnerships built on trust.

Hana Qerimi
CEO & Co-Founder
Hana, the newly appointed Vice President of the Kosovo Information and Communication Technology Association (STIKK) Board, also serves as the Co-Founder and COO of Digital School in Kosovo, the region’s foremost private institution dedicated to technology education for students aged 7 to 18. With a solid foundation in Business Management and a Global MBA in Consulting Management from London, she possesses a range of esteemed certifications, including PMP, CMC, and Digital Transformation. Her extensive expertise underscores her commitment to advancing software development services and fostering technological literacy in the community.
Darsej Rizaj
CTO & Co-Founder
Darsej, a distinguished leader in the technology sector, boasts over a decade of experience in the ICT industry. His extensive expertise includes serving as a Solution Architect for renowned global telecom providers such as AT&T, British Telecom, Vodafone, Orange, CradlebPoint, Mobily, Tellabs, Cisco, and Ciena. In addition to his role as CEO of Digital School in Kosovo, Darsej possesses profound knowledge in large-scale network technologies, system automation, systems testing, software development, IT, and multimedia technologies, positioning him as a pivotal figure in advancing technological innovation.

“We started with something around 1,000 euros, which was all our money we had saved at that time buying secondhand computers that cost 100 euros each, 10 computers in total, and that’s how we started the business. And today, after seven years, we have surpassed 200 employees.”
