Ave / Built by StarLabs
Ave.
AI built by StarLabs.
Our AI platform brings an interface, coordinated assistants, persistent knowledge and controlled access to business tools together. Built from our own work on AI systems and The Hive.

The platform we built
An interface.
A team. A system for the work.
A useful AI platform needs context, responsibilities, tools and a way for people to see and control what happens.
Ave is the face people interact with. Behind it, the platform coordinates assistants, keeps shared instructions and knowledge, assigns tasks and limits access to connected systems.
You can follow the work, review communication and decide which actions and tools belong in the implementation.
The system behind Ave
Architecture overview
What is built into the platform
Six capabilities.
One coordinated system.
Roles, knowledge, work and system access remain part of the same managed platform.
- 01
Assistants with defined roles
Give each assistant a responsibility and the instructions for how your team works. Organize the people and assistants around the department or task.
- 02
Shared knowledge & memory
Keep company instructions, project knowledge and learned lessons available across tasks. Review revisions instead of losing context in separate conversations.
- 03
Tasks & recurring work
Assign work, follow its status and schedule recurring tasks. Keep the next action and the responsible assistant visible.
- 04
Controlled access to tools
Connect business systems and choose which tools each assistant may use. Access rules are enforced when the assistant calls a tool.
- 05
Coordination between assistants
Let assistants exchange messages within the permissions you set. Keep related conversations and task responsibilities connected.
- 06
Human oversight
Review work and communication, change permissions and pause an assistant. Keep people responsible for scope and decisions.
Example business task
Review the enquiries.
Show what needs follow-up.
Assign an assistant to review records in an approved business system. It follows the instructions for the task, uses the tools it has been granted and brings the findings back for review.
The implementation defines what the assistant can read, which actions it may take and when a person must decide.
Illustrative task flow
- 01Agree the task and the review rules
- 02Check the assistant’s system permissions
- 03Read the relevant records through approved tools
- 04Identify missing owners or overdue next actions
- 05Return the findings for the responsible person to review
Implemented around your business
Start with one task.
Connect the systems it needs.
Our service process shapes the implementation around your people, information and existing systems.
- 01
Diagnose
Walk through one task with the people doing it. List the systems, records, handoffs and delays; check what data is available.
- 02
Design
Draw the proposed process. Decide which product to configure, which systems to connect and which steps need automation or AI.
- 03
Implement
Configure the agreed product, import the agreed records and build the connections. Run normal tasks and exception cases with the process owner.
- 04
Train
Practise the actual tasks with users: submit a request, approve it, check an AI draft and handle an exception. Prepare the people administering the system.
- 05
Support
Agree who monitors the system and handles incidents. Review failed runs, user feedback and the measures chosen at diagnosis.
